Valentine's Day!

Heart's Day post! Try this Red Velvet Crinkles. Sweet. But don't read the caption. PURE KALOKOHAN!

I bought it to one of the pastry shops here, then suddenly one of my friend, inserted it with a dedication. I said it's okay to doodle it. 'cause Iknow she will only write Happy Valentine's Reiss. But to my shock, she also write, that the red velvet was from my secret admirer! Hell no! I'm going to give it to my parents.

"Reiss, masarap to bumili ka na!"

Yeah, i'll tried it, then I bought 2 dozen of that red velvet crinkles.

"May libreng dedication card, may pagbibigyan ka ba?.... Ah, wala naman, iuuwi ko sa bahay at ako ang kakain. Happy Valentines sa sarili ko, solve na ako don. 2 dozen ba naman ang kainin mo sa isang upuan lang, eh. Tataas ang glucose level ko. Haha."

When I arrived at home, I noticed that the dedication is address to me, okay. Then there's a greeting to. But from SECRET ADMIRER?

Pinagtritripan talaga ako ng mga friends ko. Wala naman akong secret admirer, ano ako - high-school?

Nah, too old for that things. Insha'Allah!®

Keep the faith

Keep the challenges on, or rather compete with yourself..... Stay focus...  Just believe in yourself, be the real you... You'll get there! Make things happen! :)

It never gets easier; you just get stronger.

Our greatest glory is not in never falling but in rising every time we fall.

"You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream." -C.S.LEWIS

SUCCESS IS TO SACRIFICE.

Alam ko na kaya ko to, there's always room for improvement. Just keep in mind, that I'll get there soon. Ilang kembot na lang, makakarating na ko do'n. Konting sipag at effort pa, you'll see me with a big smile. Sabi nga nila, Practice makes perfect, eh. I'll read and read and read. And of course, pray hard too. I know God is always guiding us. DO YOUR BEST AND GOD WILL DO THE REST. ®

Study hard, Pray hard and Do the best!

Set them free?

As the protagonist said:

"If you truly love someone, one set them free.
If it is yours it will come back and if not,
it was never yours to begin with."

Nah, I have read this earlier. Is this sign.... wooh. Let go sign for ckate? It keeps flashing in my mind. Its been a long time, my God. If that person is happy, then let it be. Whenever we cross our paths, I'll be gladly to greet that someone! Hahahah. I never imagined. Oh thoughts!

Flashbacksssss

Sometimes there are things that will come to you, so unexpectedly. Yeah it's true. Who knows?

A little bit of shock, came to my mind, because of this person, the last time we saw each other was last year.

Oh fate? Is it? Maybe yes, maybe no.

I know that person moved on, I mean level up in a new stage of life. Going with the flow. But yesterday night..... It was so OMG. Kinda didn't sleep well last night, thinking of that memories we shared when we were young. Flashback!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zup?

What a tiring day! Who would have thought that I will wear such corporate attire with a little touch of being a true lady...? I’m not kidding. A suit with a yellow sleeveless tops, black trouser, a pair of black high-heeled shoes and a gray lady bag; what happened to me? It’s not the stuff I commonly wear. Satisfied with my pair of vans shoes or chucks, with cosy t-shirt and regular denim; and that’s it. A classic REISS PEREZ at school.  My friends told me I really look like a meticulous university lecturer. Wow. Is that what fashion can figure out to me? The other one said, do I have a summit to be present at? I’m surprised by their reactions.  But it’s a kind of odd feeling as they sneak about it, yeah I’m not used to. Oh no.

The seminar push through, topics about climate change here in Philippines, that mostly Nigerian students discussed about and ask some questions to the speaker. Over-all it’s a bit good seminar. Not so boring, because the Lahing Batangan, Music Box and Rock of Ages 2013 carried out.

Meet up with an old buddy (Armie Jane Laparan), we’ve done some small talks. Issues about family, work, love life and many others; it’s great, made it with coffee. I’m happy for her, on what she had achieved in her life. As I always telling her, keep her faith alive and be the best that she can be, in order to achieve her dreams and goals. Perhaps, we are all here to support her, in whatever decision she made as long as it can make her to the top and bring her to the right path.

Fieldtrip - Everything at Once

Last November 27, 2012 I visited the Davao Crocodile Park – Manila, Philippine Science Centrum – Marikina and The Mind Museum - Taguig. The purpose of this trip was to look at some of the exhibits to see how information about science is presented and to learn more about concepts and discoveries related to this area of medical laboratory science.

About 6:30 am we start to go to our first destination the Davao Crocodile Park – Manila. The students were accompanied by the tour guide named “Ate CJ” and some of the MLS faculty. Approximately 9:05 am when we arrived at Davao Crocodile Park – Manila. The first show I visited was Hornbill show by Billy and Bill. The audience will only say the magic word “fly” and “catch”. Followed by the raven bird show named Noahafter that is the green male parrot show named Hannah and white cockatoos named Jam. The other audiences are enjoying the live bird show because of amusement and how do birds really follow the instructions given to them by their masters. However, the masters showed the kids how they feed their crocodiles. The finale, there was the man who cross the rope using his feet at the same time not using safety gear. He has a secret balancing power that he used in able to go in the other side of the station, but to think of it, what if he fall to that 10 feet river of so many crocodiles? He could really die. And there’s the incident. He fell and fortunately he’s ready with his grip and balance to stand using that rope. It’s “buwis-buhay” stuff. We are able to have a photograph with the little crocodile. Kids are so scary, and when the big python showed up and placed in the top of the table with no mouthpiece. Jeez, the skin of that long, long, long snake is so scary.

11:05 am lunch at BlueWave, Pasay. Then, 1:15 pm we arrive at Philippine Science Centrum – Marikina. That is the only exhibit I went that has no air-conditioning unit,  everyone of us are looking for cool place, cause we can’t enjoy the scenery if it’s too hot. 3:30 pm we enter the The Mind Museum – Taguigbecause our ticket time schedule is from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm and we were welcomed by the robot named Aedi. That was the most interesting part of the field trip for me. I discover a lot of things and it was a great help for the students like me that’s why it was called “the first world class museum in the Philippines.”  After a one of a kind experience at the Mind Museum, we went at Market! Market!, also in Taguig City to have our dinner and buy some souvenirs. Our bus no. 2 left the mall around 8:45 pm.

Overall, it was a fun experience with my new school. I’m glad because schools allow fieldtrips; especially in CAMP they include it in the MLS curriculum. Out of 10, I rank the whole field trip a grade of 9.
